Today two modern artificial lung ventilations «Monnal T75» by French production came to the hospital of Emergency medical services. This supply was effected within the framework of the work of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. City Mayor Vadym Boichenko appreciated the Foundation for reliable partnership in the struggle against pandemic.

‘Due to mutual teamwork we are able to localize disease mongering. Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped us to create all the necessary conditions including protective overalls, short term tests, oxygen dispensing points into every hospital and even PCR laboratory. There are two modern artificial lung ventilations now. Plan of actions concerning the struggle against pandemic, supply with all the necessary equipment of medical personnel, good work of medical workers and sponsorship became the key issues in the struggle against Covid-19. Today we have one of the best rates among the country – more than 90 % of ill people have recovered’,
the Mayor stressed.

Besides, the City Mayor greeted medical workers before their professional holiday –Day of Medical worker. An Advisor of Governor of Donetsk regional administration Nicolai Trofimenko joined the greetings. He admitted that due to quick right decisions of the municipality and consciousness of Mariupol residents, it became possible to minimize the danger of uncontrolled incidence.

Monnal T75 is an artificial lung ventilation of a new generation for invasive and non-invasive ventilation for adults and children. It has alert sounds and visual alarm, wide functionality of monitoring of the patient, possibility of self-contained operation during three hours.

Medical workers were also given gift bags by the Foundation. There is a form with QR-code in each of them. Following the link and filling up a form with data, every medical worker will get workwear suit. It will be stitched by individual standards for medical workers, working with COVID-19 patients.

‘We want to support and appreciate every doctor who is struggling with incidence. With the start of COVID in Ukraine, Rinat Akhmetov Foundation accumulated all its resources to assist. 200 artificial lung ventilations, thousands of express tests and PCR laboratories were purchased. All this was made to protect health of the Ukrainians and resist COVID-19’, the HR Director and administration of ‘Azovstal’ Iron and Steel Works Konstantin Voitsekhovskiy said.

It is worth noting that the PCR laboratory previously transferred as a gift to the city is already working at full capacity. Now there is no need to send biomaterial of patients to Slavyansk or Kiev. You can conduct a study for the presence of coronovirus in Mariupol. This greatly speeds the process up.
