Today, April, the 29th Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, volunteers, representatives of the municipality and public organizations planted rose bushes in the ‘Voice of Peace’ Alley in ‘Veselka’ park. The action was devoted to the sixth anniversary of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation's Mobile Delivery Brigade project. It was in Mariupol that the first 60 trucks with products from the Foundation arrived.

‘In six years, our city has become more than a hundred thousand new Mariupol residents. Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped them to provide basic necessities and products. Each case was considered separately. The fund also helped the municipality. I appreciate each of you for this. Mariupol has become the main logistics center for the formation of humanitarian cargo,’ First Deputy Mayor Mikhailo Kohut said.

During the conflict, more than 5,000 volunteers joined Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. During the event, volunteers were presented with the notes of acknowledgement and souvenirs.

‘Mobile Disbursement Brigades’ is a unique system of assistance to people who live on the line of contact. We made 847 trips to the hottest spots of Donbas. More than 3.5 million people received Rinat Akhmetov's help. It reached many only due to mobile teams,’ spokesman of Rinat Akhmetov Fund Mikhailo Katerinchak said.

The Alley of Roses was created as part of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation's Voice of Peace Museum project. Each bush is a symbol of one story of a resident of Donbas, whose life was divided into ‘before’ and ‘after’ with the beginning of the armed conflict.

The Foundation tells and will tell about the fate of the people of Donbas to as many people as possible around the world. For this purpose, on the personal initiative of Rinat Akhmetov, the Museum of the Voice of Peace was established. This is an unprecedented documentary project, the purpose of which is to tell the whole world about people whose lives have been forever changed by the conflict in the Eastern Ukraine. The foundation dreams of collecting a million stories, and in the nearest future sets a goal - 100 thousand testimonies of peaceful people, where one thousand has already been collected.
