5 more new buses are delivered in Mariupol

Today, the second batch of modern buses has been delivered to Mariupol. The transport was purchased as part of a joint project of  Mariupol City Council and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

These buses are made up at the Minsk Automobile Plant. They have the maximum configuration. They include air conditioning for the driver’s cab and passenger compartment, electronic information systems, route signs, automatic stop updates, video surveillance and a passenger counting system. Each bus has the ability to carry up to 90 passengers.

It is worth mentioning, the first delivery of buses came a week ago. Further shipments are expected. According to the project, the bus fleet of Mariupol will be replenished with 64 units of transport. 49 units are MAZ 203016 and 15 twin 18-meter-long buses of MAZ 215069 brand.

In addition, in the framework of cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, 72 trolley buses will also run in the city streets.
