A family outpatient clinic has been operating in Kurchatova microdistrict, which covers almost 10 thousand people for a year. The residents can receive all the necessary primary health care near their home. Now, a mobile brigade and a call center are functioning at its base during the fight against COVID-19. The readiness of the medical institution was checked by Mayor Vadym Boichenko.

Thus, employees of the mobile team visit patients with coronavirus who are on outpatient treatment. In addition, they examined residents with suspicions of COVID and took blood samples for a test. The call center staff calls daily patients who are at home on self-isolation.

For safety, there are two entrance to the outpatient clinic. One central, the second for patients with fever and those who want to do a test for COVID-19. In the outpatient clinic, not only are family doctors receiving appointments, but also a vaccination room is equipped. You can make an appointment online.

According to the director of the Center for Primary Health Care No. 1 Violetta Dluhokanskaya, the staff of the outpatient clinic is provided with all necessary personal protective equipment. Financial assistance from the city council significantly motivates employees. She added that there are plans to open a public utility pharmacy on the basis of the outpatient clinic.

‘Our task is to create the most comfortable conditions for the treatment of residents in all districts of Mariupol, including remote ones. During a pandemic, the role of primary health care is very important. Everything has been created in the outpatient clinic for safety and health protection,’ Vadym Boichenko said.
