During the session of the city council, the deputies have decided to provide material assistance to Bohdan Forost. A six-month-old boy needs a related liver transplant. UAH 615,800 were allocated for the treatment.
A week ago, a great-aunt of Bohdan turned to the Mayor for a reception, asking for help. Vadim Boichenko instructed the director of the health department, Svetlana Makarova, to take the matter under control.
‘The project was reviewed at the coordination council. There was an emergency situation. Now the child is in the Lviv City Clinical Hospital. The condition worsens. Further treatment was recommended at a clinic in Belgium,’ Svetlana Makarova commented on the situation.
Vadim Boichenko appreciated the deputies and non-indifferent residents for supporting the seriously ill children.
