Planned school modernization is being continued in Mariupol. All local activities are aimed at creating comfortable conditions for children. Thus, according to the program "Hygiene at Schools" this year, new toilet rooms will appear at 8 schools. By 2025, all school bathrooms will be equipped with high-quality and modern sanitary ware and the premises will acquire a modern look.

New toilet rooms have already appeared at school № 30 of Kalmiussky district. Last year, the institution completed a complete replacement of windows with metal-plastic ones. These energy efficient measures allow saving about UAH 600 thousand per year. Besides, children's playgrounds appeared near the school, tennis tables, football and basketball fields, anti-vandal simulators and a treadmill with a special coating were installed. The adjacent territory was also improved by the tiles. The total cost of the "sports" project is about UAH 9 million.

“In parallel with major renovations, at least one project is being implemented in every school in the city. Thus, we are preparing a confident foundation for a successful professional future for our children. Both teachers and children should be in a comfortable environment. Today this requires financial costs from us, but there is nothing better than investing in the future - in our children,”
the Mayor Vadym Boichenko emphasized.

It is worth noting that during the overhaul of the toilets at school № 30, utilities were replaced and LED lamps with motion sensors were installed. The rooms now have quality plumbing, dryers, soap dishes and mirrors. The rooms are designed in a modern style. Besides, there was a bathroom for people with disabilities on the ground floor.
