Today on St. Nicholas Day in Mariupol New Year illumination has been lit. Theater Square, Mira Avenue and new art objects shone with bright lights. Investments in illumination designs was about UAH 2.5 million.
The residents and the guests of the city stood in line to take pictures with festive novelties - near the ‘Mariupol’ installation and arches with garlands. The luminous clock in the center of the European fountain, around which the Mariupol Fair was located, was of particular interest. For the first time in the New Year's Eve the alley near the water tower was decorated.
The guests of the holiday noted that the New Year illumination harmoniously fit into the restored center of the city. It was complemented by illuminated buildings near Theater Square and a water tower.
