A number of work projects have been approved regarding the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities at the meeting of the executive committee. Thus, the plans include overhaul of ‘Prometey’ Integrated Children and Youth Sports School, Vladimir Boyko Stadium, kindergartens, schools and medical facilities.
According to Mayor Vadym Boichenko, since the re-registration of Shakhtar football club in Mariupol, it has become possible to create conditions for the popularization of sports.
‘Prometei’ is located in Mariupol City Palace of Aesthetic Education. The working draft provides for the repair of the pool, interior, equipment of an autonomous system for regulating and heating water, and the installation of heating according to the energy-saving technologies. Thus, the pool will be able to work all year. The preliminary cost of the project is more than UAH 40 million.
Vladimir Boyko stadium is also planned to be reconstructed. The grounds of the playing area with a grass lawn are planned to be made, a natural lawn is going to be equipped, billboards to be installed and the gates to be replaced. It is necessary to approve the allocation of funds to start the implementation.
During the executive committee, they decided to provide 10 flats for official housing to employees of the Donetsk Law Institute.
