The International Day of Dance is celebrated on April 29 in the world. Therefore, the theatrical performance Bauhaus tanzt has been held at the GogolFest festival today. It was put by the Austrian team PUC: Bauhaus tanzt. On the stage of the small hall of Molodezhny Palace of Culture, artists connected music, dance and visual art.
With a rather restrained visualization, the dancers paid attention to the sound that complements the story. The images of the heroes revealed the costumes of non-limiting movements, and emphasizing the expressiveness of the dance.
The performance is an interpretation of the futuristic ballet Triadisches Ballett, presented by the famous German artist Oscar Schlemmer. Therefore, in this version there were three girls who reflected the concept of triadism set by Schlemmer. Meanwhile, the pianist played the Sonatas and the Interlude by John Cage.
The performance consisted of two parts. The audience went to the courtyard of the palace, and then they were again invited to an unusual event. They offered to enter the hall after the girl who lit up the path with blue lights.
