Today Mayor Vadym Boichenko has appreciated our Paralympians for their high achievements before the start of the plenary session. It is worth noting that in mid-May Portugal hosted the European Open Swimming Championship. 370 athletes from different European countries competed there. The Ukrainian team included five Mariupol players. Among the prize-winners there is the current deputy Olexander Komarov, who performed well in the competitions and won prizes.
‘It's nice that Mariupol residents are leaders in international competitions and strengthen the image of our country. We rejoice at the significant achievements of the athletes and congratulate them on their victory! I want to appreciate Alexander for his persistence in his favorite work. We believe in your future victories and always cheer for you’, Vadym Boichenko said.
Olexander Komarov was elected as a deputy of the city council for the first time. Now he is a member of the permanent parliamentary commission on transport issues, actively hosts receptions of citizens, is engaged in charitable and social work. Deputy Komarov successfully combines service activity with a sports career, constantly takes part in high-level competitions.
‘Any work must be done well! To do this, you need to make every effort to achieve the best result. Either in sports, or in work activities, so I learned to combine them in order to get a successful result,’ the deputy Olexander Komarov said.
