Today the guests from Kiev, Kharkov and Nikolaev have arrived to Mariupol. 150 students and mentors of the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership sang together a “New Joy Become” carol at the train station.
They pleasantly surprised the passengers who got off the train. Many asked to do a joint photo in memory. Further, young people will visit several locations, telling everyone about Christmas. All comers will be able to come to see the costume show and listen to carols.
The purpose of the performances - the spread of Christmas traditions in the East of Ukraine. As well as formation of Ukrainian identity and unification of youth from different parts of the country. The Nativity Play was held with the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Mariupol City Council.
After that, the students with their Christmas nativity scenes will disperse throughout the region. They plan to visit Slavyansk, Avdiivka, Mangushskiy district, Volnovakha, Nikolsky district and Severodonetsk of Lugansk region.
