Almost 10 000 people have visited an open air skating rink

On December 21, a skating rink on Svoboda Square was opened for the visitors. It has been visited by 9603 people by this time, 850 of them - free of charge, according to social programs. There were no injured and there was need in a medical care.

Nikolai Sarychev, the head of ‘Azovets’ ‘City Sports Complex, said that children from low-income families and boarding schools were riding for free. Also everyone could go free on the opening day of the rink and on New Year's Eve.

‘Over 900 people entered the rink on the first day of the New Year. In total, from the opening to the evening of January 3, 9603 people rolled on the ice. Nobody had injuries that required any medical help,’ Nikolai Sarychev noted.

Let us recall, the cost of visiting the rink on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. is 20 UAH. From 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and at weekends - 40 UAH.
