In Mariupol, 13 families among displaced persons have received new housing. The Mayor Vadim Boichenko visited new Mariupol residents. They will live in a house located in 19 Mendeleev Street. The building has been completely reconstructed for social housing. The total investment in the project was more than 20 million UAH.
In total 19 apartments are equipped. Two of them are specially equipped for people with disabilities. The building is fully insulated and modernized. Each apartment has all the necessary appliances and furniture. The project was implemented due to co-financing of the city and the state.
Valentina Voiennaya and her husband work as the doctors in State Hospital No. 2. For a long time they had to rent a house but now they have a place that they can call their home.
‘Now we have a feeling of stability and confidence in the future. Here you don’t even need to do anything because everything is equipped - just come in and live. Thank you very much for this gift,’ she said.
