The ice rink is planned to be open in the center of the city. 3 million UAH were allocated from the local budget for the project realization. Oleksiy Kazantsev, the Head of the Department for Physical Training and Sports, told about its service hours.
The installation works of the ice rink are carried out in high gear on Svobody Square. Refrigeration equipment, mounted fences and T-tents have been already delivered.
According to Oleksiy Kazantsev, the rink is planned to be opened in early December. During three winter months, the ice arena will work from 9.00 to 15.00 for free, and after 15.00 for a nominal fee of 10 UAH.
“Taking into account the practice of previous year, we mentioned that Mariupol people loved ice rink. This is a place where you can rest with the whole family or have fun with your friends. In order to avoid a chaotic crowd in the evening and create an atmosphere of winter holiday, it was decided to introduce a minimum fee of 10 UAH after 15.00. Although the prime cost is 45-55 UAH”, - Oleksiy Kazantsev said.
