The citizens and guests of the city will remember the last three days in Mariupol during the largest music festival on the Azov Sea coast - MRPL City. Terrible event of this summer was visited by ten thousands of people and about fifty celebrities performed on the stage. Thanks to all the services involved, the event was held at the highest level - as safely and comfortably as possible.
To ensure the order and safety of the guests of the festival, nearly 1,000 policemen were attracted. Servicemen, the National Guard, the Security Service and the State Emergency Service were involved. The order in the sea was provided by rescuers of the emergency-diving service of the City Council. The health of the guests was followed by emergency medical teams and ‘Red Cross’.
To ensure the visitors to spend time in a comfortable way at the festival, the municipal services of the city have carried out laborious work in advance. Among the involved services there were Zelenstroy, Kommunalnik, Gorsvet, Vodokanal and Mariupolavtodor. On the perimeter, garbage containers, litter boxes, dry closets, shower cabins and benches were installed.
To deliver people to the venue of the event, Mariupol Tram and Trolleybus Office organized an uninterrupted operation of public transport. Buses ran from the Law Institute to the beach for free. Public transport worked around the clock. Buses and trolleybuses brought visitors to the festival into all the districts of Mariupol. Thus, all guests of ‘MRPL City Fest’ could comfortably get to the festival and home.
