More than UAH 79 mln are planned to be directed to HOA support in 2019

This was told by the first deputy mayor Mikhail Kogut during the presentation of the draft budget of Mariupol for 2019. In total, they plan to spend UAH 242.2 million on modernization of the housing and utilities sector and the work of utilities.

The local budget is UAH 228.9 million of the total amount and UAH 13.3 million is the funds from the State Fund for Regional Development.

Mikhail Kogut noted that the main directions of modernization are the support of condominiums, the development of housing stock and the solution of problems with water supply. They also plan to increase the efficiency of the heat supply system.

‘Support for condominiums is one of the main priorities. Investment in the development of 79.4 million UAH. More than 55 million UAH we will direct for repair of roofing of houses of OSMD. Another 21 million UAH will be used for the overhaul of engineering networks and 2 million UAH for the repair of electrical networks in six OSMD houses, ‘the first deputy said.

With regard to the modernization of the housing stock, in 2019 the overhaul of five houses is planned . The elevators and balconies, as well as roofs and facades will be repaired. The investments in housing stock are UAH 68.9 million.

An important direction is water supply. Thus, they plan to reconstruct the conduit in Shota Rustaveli Str., sewage collector in the Primorsky district and the water supply system with the installation of a step-up pumping station in Granitnaya Str.

Mikhail Kogut also reported on the modernization of heat supply. For these purposes the city will allocate UAH 26.3 million. The money will be spent on the reconstruction of water boilers in Gazovaya Str. and Taganrgoskaya boiler room in Irtyshskaya Str. and Radina Str.

UAH 18.2 million is planned for the development of utilities. The mayor Vadim Boichenko stressed the importance of supporting condominiums, the implementation of Cozy Yard project and repairs of constructions.

‘People took responsibility for the maintenance of their homes. They are not afraid to make decisions. HOA support is our solidarity to responsible people. Now about 700 HOAs are registered in Mariupol,’
the City Mayor Vadim Boichenko summed up.
