Today, all the citizens of our country celebrate the most important state holiday - Independence Day of Ukraine. Mariupol began celebrating the 27th anniversary of the country with a solemn meeting near Taras Shevchenko monument. The representatives of the authorities, power structures, military, deputies and citizens of the city came with flowers, blue and yellow symbols.
The City Mayor Vadim Boichenko was the first to congratulate the residents on the 27th anniversary of Ukrainian independence. In a welcoming speech, he noted that Ukrainians are proud of their nation, their flag, appreciate the hymn and love their state.
He was joined by People's Deputy of Ukraine Alexey Belyi and an advisor to the Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Nikolay Trofimenko. They are sure that the Independence Day of Ukraine is a holiday of unity and victory.
In the end, all those present laid flowers at the foot of the monument. The residents told how much they love Ukraine at open mike.
