The overhaul of "Young sailor" kindergarten № 117 has been completed in Prymorsky district in Mariupol . About 300 pupils of the institution will be in cozy groups with comfortable furniture and a modern music hall. They assessed the quality of the work performed, talked with the garden staff, pupils and their parents, the chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko and Mayor Vadym Boichenko.
“Investing in children is an investment in the future. The conditions created are aimed at developing the potential and talents of the younger generation. State and regional authorities helped us in the implementation of the project. This synergy has shown an excellent result, ” Vadym Boichenko stressed.
Overhaul, within the framework of the state program "Big Construction", included a number of energy saving measures, dismantling and finishing works, replacement of engineering networks and communications. The total cost of the project is UAH 53.5 million. These are funds from local and state budgets.
The groups are equipped according to the latest standards. All the necessary furniture, mirrors, washbasins, lockers are arranged taking into account the height of the children. Accessibility elements are present. Interactive zones were also created for the pupils.
Modern equipment has also appeared in the kitchen. Everything will be steamed here. The range of dishes will increase and the quality of food will improve. The technological process will be reduced significantly.
The facade of the "Young Sailor" is decorated with drawings on the marine theme and at night it is illuminated with lamps. On the adjacent territory, a platform with a soft surface and pavilions for each of the groups was placed.
“The kindergarten will become a gem among the city's preschool institutions. I am sure that others will follow this project. The updated conditions and approach to the upbringing of children will become a quality foundation in their future life”, Pavlo Kyrylenko commented.
In the end, the little Mariupol residents painted embroidery in an interactive game dedicated to the National Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine.
