Since 2016, a city program of support for associations of co-owners of apartment buildings has been operating in Mariupol. Due to it, major repairs, energy-efficient projects are carried out in the housing stock, and “Cozy Courtyards” appear on the adjacent territory. Mayor Vadym Boichenko continues to sign Memorandums of Cooperation with the chairmen of condominiums.
“Sharing responsibility, residents of Mariupol are changing their attitude towards the housing stock. Residents manage their own home independently. In this work, the city provides comprehensive support to condominiums. Together we create a comfortable future ”, - said Vadym Boichenko.
For example, 197 condominiums were created in the Left Bank District. There are "Dobrobud" and "Vostochny-161" among them along Olympiyska Street. Their "Cozy Courtyard" is combined into one location. The roads were asphalted and the tile was laid, benches, a gazebo, a gymnastic complex, a tennis table, outdoor exercise equipment, swings, clothes dryers, carpet weaving and a railing were set.
In addition, ,the access visors, interpanel seams were repaired, and the elevators were repaired and examined by an expert in the house number 161. House No. 163 joined the condominium in 2017. During this time, an expert examination of the elevators was carried out, a mini-project for the repair of power supply and water supply networks was carried out, design estimates were developed for the overhaul of central heating networks, and landscaping of the local area was carried out.
“The decision to create condominiums was made at an open meeting. At first we were worried, but seeing positive changes, we are making our home more and more comfortable. Over the years, residents of the house have become more sociable and friendly with each other, ” Vladimir Farin, chairman of the Dobrobud condominium association said. In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it”.
