City Mayor Vadym Boichenko has held the meeting with the representatives of HOAs. The achievements were discussed there and the further prospective of the development of unions has been determined. 863 HOAs are created in Mariupol and UAH 500 mln have been allocated since 2016.
According to the Head of department of the development and support of HOAs Sergey Marchuk, only 72 unions had been created in Mariupol before 2016. For the last 4 years, after the start of Support Program, 863 unions started its operation that is 45% of the residential area of block of flats. UAH 536 mln was allocated for the time of program action.
‘More citizens want to become a member of HOAs seeing the changes.280 mini-projects are planned to be realized this year, 133 of Cosy Yards and 96 major repair works are planned to be held’, Sergey Marchuk admitted.
He also gave new suggestions to improve the program. In particular, he said about the concept of the change of the lifts in the ratio 70 %( fifnancing of the city) to 30% (own means of HOAs) and presented the support of unsafe buildings.
The main part of the support of HOAs is the program ‘Warm credits’. The Head of the division of ecology, energy management and labor protection Vaagn Mnatsakanian admitted that in 2017 the program was used by one HOA and in 2018 it was used by 10 HOAs. Based on the results of 2019, 129 ‘warm credits’ in the amount of UAH 23 mln were given to the city.
The chairmen could ask the city mayor questions. They were interested in the possibility to change sewage collectors before the start of the works within the framework of ‘Cozy yards’. They asked for the support to solve the problems of management companies.
At the end of the meeting, Vadym Boichenko appreciated all the present for support and trust. He added that that kind of meetings is necessary to be held in future because they let set the feedback and determine further plans.
