Mayor Vadym Boichenko signed a memorandum of cooperation with the chairmen of HOA "Alrada" and "October-140". The document is a guarantee that the houses on 165, 167 Builders Avenue will be repaired as part of the city's program to support associations of co-owners of apartment buildings. The residents have the opportunity to spend leisure time in the "Cozy Yard".
“HOA Support Program is a tool for positive changes. We make houses more comfortable, and "Cozy yards" make Mariupol cozier as a whole. The memorandum means mutual responsibility. Together we solve problems that have accumulated for a long time”,
- Vadym Boichenko noted.
Thus, on the basis of the signed memorandum, residents undertake to keep their yards and houses clean and tidy, and the city to assist in the implementation of projects for repair, energy efficiency, maintenance of houses and improvement of adjacent areas.
To date, more than 900 apartment buildings have joined the associations. Financial aid has also increased. In 2020, more than UAH 250 million has been allocated from the city budget.
For example, in the house №165 the window blocks were replaced, the roof was overhauled and an expert inspection of the elevator entrances was carried out. In the house №167 the mini-project on replacement of engineering networks is executed, window blocks are replaced, the roof is overhauled, landscaping of the house adjoining territory is carried out.
As part of the implementation of the "Cozy Yard", the roads were paved, sidewalks were laid with tiles, benches were set. A children's play complex and a sandbox were opened for young Mariupol residents. Young people can play sports on simulators in a special complex "Workout".
