The overhaul of the Donetsk Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is held in Mariupol. Total funding is more than UAH 85 million. 10 million is allocated from the city budget. Mayor Vadim Boichenko watched the progress of the work.
The president of the Donetsk Law Institute Viktor Beschastny notes that the repair will take place in three buildings of the institute along Stroiteley Avenue, Lunina and Nakhimova Streets. They will also improve the surrounding area.
‘The building of Mariupol primary training center ‘Police Academy’ has not been repaired since 1970. In addition, we are expanding the parade ground,’ the rector said.
The repairs are planned to be completed by September 2020. The training process will not be interrupted. Now 242 cadets and 150 students are studying at the institute. It is planned to increase the number of students to a thousand people.
Viktor Beschastny said that the repair is carried out not only in educational buildings, but also in the hostel. Small family rooms for teachers will be created here.
Vadim Boichenko noted that in Mariupol all modern conditions for the training of professional personnel are being created. He emphasized that our city has become a new home for three migrant universities.
