Today a Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between Priazovsky State Technical University and Metinvest Group in Mariupol. It includes the joint implementation of career guidance programs. Deputy Mayor Alexander Kochurin congratulated the students on new opportunities.
He noted that it is important for Mariupol students to be in demand after the completion of the university an understand that there is a prospect of employment in the city with further career growth.
‘We need to build communication between schools, universities and enterprises which give our young people the choice of educational institution, profession and place of work. The memorandum of cooperation gives this perspective and a high probability of further employment. I am sure that this document will be applied and will bring great benefits,’ Alexander Kochurin said.
The signing of the Memorandum reveals great opportunities for applicants, students, graduates and university staff. Among them there are the joint implementation of vocational programs for schoolchildren, the organization of courses for preparing for external independent assessment, the introduction of a dual system of study at the university and metallurgical enterprises. One of the key tasks is to identify and reward the best students of specialized specialties within the framework of the company's scholarship program. It also provides for the practice of students and the internship of teachers on the basis of the introduction of innovative solutions, as well as the modernization of the educational base of the university.
