A major overhaul of the building and the surrounding area is in a process at school 47. This year, UAH 20 million from the state budget and UAH 3 million from the city budget were allocated for the works. The total budget of the object is almost UAH 60 million. The Mayor Vadim Boichenko came to check the process.
An excursion to the Mayor was conducted by the director of the educational institution Nina Vorobey. Vadim Boichenko appreciated the repair of classes, assembly and sports halls.
‘All classes will have their own color scheme. In the hall and along the corridors we will have sofas, shelves for reading books and chess tables. What is important for children is that we will organize a wi-fi zone,’ Nina Vorobey said.
Vadim Boichenko said that such modernized supporting schools will be in every district of the city. Their main task is to become methodological centers that will acquaint teachers with new technologies and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary in the global world.
The school director noted that teachers of school №47 are already conducting training and undergoing courses on introducing new teaching methods into education.
It is worth noting that it is planned to overhaul the schools number 27, 26, 10 and 5.
