Sessions of the city council

At 41 sessions of the city council, the deputies have decided to ratify the loan agreement concluded between Mariupol City Council and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). It will allow to implement an investment project to upgrade the bus fleet of Mariupol.

By the end of the year, 64 new buses will appear in the streets. It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine approved the provision of a local guarantee by the city council for the implementation of the project ‘Renovating the trolleybus park in Mariupol, which is funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’. This is another step that will allow the city to purchase 72 new trolley buses.

‘We are creating a market of comfortable transport services in Mariupol. The share of municipal transport will be 80%. This will help us to provide comfortable conditions for Mariupol residents. Three years ago we set the task of transport substitution. It is rapidly fulfilled’,
- Mayor Vadim Boichenko stressed.
