The hugest musical festival of Azov seashore ‘MRPL CITY’ will start this Friday. This year it counts more than 70 famous performers of different genres who will perform at 3 stages. The city mayor Vadim Boichenko came to check the preparation to the opening of the location.
Two main stages have already been constructed on Peschanka beach. The hugest stage is equipped with modern screens, the unique illumination and it meets European standards. Vadim Boichenko admitted a significant raise of the level of the festival this year.
All municipal services of the city are actively involved in preparing the festival locations. There is a mechanized cleaning of sand, garbage is removed and sanitary zones are equipped. They are also improving the surrounding area. In particular, grass is mowed and trees are cut. A mesh fence is installed. During the festival, a round-the-clock cleaning of the beach and the surrounding area is planned.
The territory of the festival is also equipped with camping. For the comfort of visitors, metal supports are installed, which will accommodate 52 hammocks. An extreme merry-go-round with a height of 15 meters will be installed. After the festival, it will continue to entertain Mariupol residents until the end of September in the Theater Square. They will also place an already traditional air cushion. The food court will work.
UAH 3 million were allocated from the city budget for the purchase of outdoor furniture items and landscaping elements. Subsequently, the objects will remain the property of the city and will be used for other events. The amount of investments from the Metinvest Group amounted to UAH 4.5 million.
It is worth mentioning that for the convenience of the residents and the guests of the city during the festival, free buses and additional routes will run.
