We must redistribute the maximum attention to Donbass now: Vladimir Zelenskiy at the drills in Mariupol

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenskiy has visited the sea commercial port during his visit to Mariupol. He and the Minister of the Interior, Arsen Avakov, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Alexander Kutz, and Mayor Vadim Boichenko  watched the drills at the sea.

First, the President of Ukraine was shown the equipment used by the maritime security. After that, the head of state went by boat to the open the sea, where the drills were demonstrated to him. They were attended by the representatives of the National Guard, the State Emergency Service and the border guards.

According to the legend of the drills, a floating mine was discovered at a distance of about 2 miles from the coast in the waters of the Sea of ​​Azov. Special boats formed the perimeter of security. Simultaneously, images from the work of unmanned aerial vehicles arrived at the command post online. Divers promptly defused the mine.

After the drills, Vladimir Zelenskiy said that now his team is developing a program to restore the Donbass.

‘We talked to local community representatives. We talked about the most important things. Now we will urgently study the issue of housing for displaced people. Then the question of the road Mariupol-Zaporozhye. We must now redistribute the maximum attention to the Donbass. We want people from the other side, in the temporarily occupied territories, to see that Ukraine is flourishing here,’ the President of Ukraine stressed.
