The new ‘Mariupolavtodor’ utility company repaired more than 48 thousand square meters of road network for the amount of 10, 7 million UAH. 65 yards of condominiums were arranged. The installation of 27 new stops along public transport routes No. 15 and 15A is continued. For quality and operational work of the company, 70 units of equipment were purchased for the total amount of 53 million UAH.

It was announced by Dmytro Chuchmay, the director of the utility company, at the session of the City Council. He noted that ‘Avtodor’ had started its work in 2017. Its task is to repair the main and inner-block territories of the city, to maintain bus stop pavilions and other engineering structures, to provide special equipment for safe traffic on the streets of the city during snowfall, snow drifts and glaze ice in the autumn-winter period.

“In a short period of time the employees of this company have done a great job. A detailed analysis of the state of Mariupol roads was carried out, road marking works were completed, territories of kindergarten No. 91 and school No. 36 were arranged according to the ‘Cozy courtyard of my childhood’ program, roads were restored after the dismantling by utility companies”, - Dmytro Chuchmay said.

Major repairs of the roads in the center of the city are carried out with the involvement of the contractor – Onur Construction International Ltd. The amount of investment is 43, 5 million UAH. The total volume of work is more than 84 thousand square meters.

Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor, noted that despite the short period of existence of a utility company, the results of work of ‘Mariupolavtodor’ were visible.

Avtodor employees take the first steps. And we have to understand that this is hard work. I hope that already next year we will see an even larger amount of work performed. We thank the administration and employees of the company. We see how our roads are changing
