City Mayor Vadym Boichenko and Chairman of Donetsk State Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has checked the process of reconstruction of surgical bulk of Mariupol Territorial Medical Union of Child’s and Woman’s health. In-patient departments of surgical profile are located there. Elective and urgent specialized care for children of Mariupol and Southern region of Donetsk region will be taken here.
In the course of survey, technical details of realization of the project for high quality provision of repair works as well as the terms of their provision.
‘Lives and health of our citizens are in the focus of our attention. Our goal is to create good conditions for treatment of the patients in the hospitals of the city and to provide the work of medical personnel’, Vadym Boichenko stressed.
96 beds will be located in surgical, orthopedic and traumatology departments and intensive care unit in the surgical profile. Anesthesiology and endoscopy departments, emergency express-laboratory and X-ray room will be located there. Besides, telemedicine is planned to be implemented there. It will allow to get the consultation office by the specialists of the third and fourth levels concerning the questions of the treatment of patients with surgical pathology.
According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the project is planned to be completed during the current year.
