At the session of the City Council, the Head of ‘Mariupolteploset’ Public Utility told the deputies about the work of the enterprise in the first half of 2018 as well as further plans for strategic development.
During the first half of the year, the heat insulation of external networks with a total area of 12 km was resumed in all the districts of Mariupol and overfulfilled the replacement plan for heating lines. The sale of heat energy was increased by 86 thousand Gcal. In order to improve services for the population, the company launched ‘Accessible Heating Network’ program: the representatives of subscriber stations constantly visit residents and hold meetings with them.
The company has managed to complement the staff. It became possible due to an increase in average wages that was UAH 8,726 in 2018.
The main achievement is the signing of debt restructuring agreements between the Heating Network and Naftogaz.
‘As a result of joint actions of Mariupolteploset and the City Council, we were able to agree on debt restructuring. The total amount that is restructured is more than UAH 184 mln. In addition, we managed to achieve debt cancellation in the amount of UAH 154 mln,’ Dmitriy Miroshnichenko, a director of ‘Mariupolteploset’ industrial enterprise said.
Thanks to the work done in Mariupol, the heating season began on time.
