This was stated by Mayor Vadym Boichenko during a live broadcast on Ukraine 24 TV channel. According to the Mayor, 2,000 houses and 241 social infrastructure facilities have been prepared. Preparation of boiler houses for launch has begun. 18 out of 66 have already been launched.
“For the second year, Mariupol receives a nomination for gas on time. We intelligently optimize work processes and invest in utilities to get heat started on time. Due to the systematic work of our services, Mariupol is 100% ready for the heating season”, Vadym Boichenko noted.
The Mayor added that this year PU “Gorvodokanal” received a record amount of investments - about UAH 140 million. For five years, about 250 km of pipes have been replaced. PU “Mariupolteploset” also received substantial investments - about UAH 120 million. Also, according to Vadym Boichenko, the Warm Loans program is being successfully implemented in the city. Houses of condominiums are introducing measures to insulate facades or install a heat supply control device. In the last two years, more than 60 smart frames have been installed in residential buildings.
“We have done the necessary preparatory work. This gives us confidence in the smooth passage of the autumn-winter period and the stable operation of all utilities”, Vadym Boichenko stressed.
