The morning in Mariupol has started cheerfully from the race in honor of Ukrainian-French partnership today. For the first time any interested person could go jogging with the delegation led by the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Isabel Dumont and the City Mayor Vadim Boichenko. Among the participants of the race there were representatives of ‘Opposition block’, ‘Power of people’ parties and athletes from ‘Bogatyri’ social organization. In total, about a hundred of people took part in the action.
There was an obligatory warm-up in the beginning. The participants of the race started their race with music and positive emotions.
At finish, all the runners were welcomed with the words of approval. Positive emotions were received by the Ambassador of France. She runs around once or twice a week. She prefers a slow pace for long distances. According to her, running is the most affordable sport. It is needed just comfortable shoes and a big desire to go jogging for her.
‘It's very pleasant to run with the Mayor and the team here in Mariupol. This is the first and, I hope, not the last time,’ Isabel Dumont said.
Vadim Boichenko said that he does sports three times a week. Mariupol is a sport-oriented city, its potential will be developed and multiplied.
