The project “Mariupol without suburbs” will become one of the key vectors for the development of Mariupol and the basis of Strategy 2030. It is referred to infrastructural changes in the distant districts of the city and the townships. In first turn these are going to be real improvements for people. The City Mayor Vadym Boichenko stressed that a complex algorithm has been developed to realize the program.
Thus, within the frameworks of the project, the construction of a new Rodyna Park. It will be located at the territory of the waste land and it will become the place of the active and family rest of the whole district. Children playgrounds, a sport complex, litter bins and benches will appear there. The trees and bushes are planned to be planted. The total cost of the project is more than UAH 3 mln.
The concept “Mariupol without suburbs” includes repaired hub school in every distant district and township. The classes of after-school education will be based there. It means that parents will not need to take children to the ballet classes or football in the distant palace of culture now. All these services will be at a walking distance. The educational space is planned to be created on the basis of school №5 at “Vostochnyi” microdistrict.
In spring the construction of modern sports ground with football pitch, anti-vandal simulators and clubs with different kinds of sports will be started. The programs “The warmth into every class and every group” and “Hygiene at schools” have been realized at school. All the windows are changed for steel-plastic ones and the WC facilities are repaired. The major overhaul of the establishment is planned.
The priority direction of “Mariupol without suburbs” is a quality medical center. Every heavily populated area will have a public chemistry as well as children’s and family ambulance station and a block-module for heavily populated areas.
It is worth admitting, a block-module of the ambulance №6 of Primary Health Care Center №5 has been operating for 4 years in Vostochnyi microdistrict. The consultations are held there and the medication is prescribed. Ward beds are equipped there and the laboratory researches are held.
