‘Public budget’ will help to implement ‘Crossroads of historical periods of Azov’ projects. It provides the re-creation of historical life, the material culture of the Scythians, Sarmatians and other ancient peoples.
The author of the project, Mikhail Sheli, proposes to create a mobile thematic object of historical reconstruction. He will “travel” to all districts of Mariupol, so that each of the citizens could become familiar with the traditions of antiquity. The author hopes that in time this initiative will be able to reach the level of the festival.
‘Many historical festivals take place in Ukraine and around the world. In Mariupol, the last time something like this was in 2013. Therefore, I want to do something interesting and creative for Mariupol residents. So that the youth will learn more about the history of the Azov region,’ Mikhail Shehali noted.
With the funds from the ‘Public budget’ materials necessary for recreation of old clothes will be purchased. Members of the Mariupol club of the historical reconstruction ‘Azov squad’ will be engaged in its tailoring.
