Communication meetings with the residents of the city have been held in Mariupol. Their goal is to introduce ‘Public Budget’ mini-grants program. One of them took place today in the educational ‘Multicenter’ in the direction of ‘Sport’.
At the meeting, both already implemented projects of the program and those that are planned to be implemented this year were presented.
Thus, last year 11 applications were successfully implemented. Among them - ‘Be healthy project’. His goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle among children with disabilities by conducting swimming lessons with them. For several months with the guys engaged in the pool, taught to swim and adapt.
This year the projects include ‘Veteran Sport’, ‘Race for Survival’, ‘Basketball Tournament 3x3’, water show ‘Visiting Neptune’ and others. For example, ‘Visiting Neptune’ project was held last year and won for the second time. This is a sports and entertainment event in the format of the show, which gives the opportunity to see a variety of water sports and let participants to show their beauty.
Due to the program of mini-grants of the ‘Public budget’, each resident of Mariupol can offer their own project for the development of sports and win a grant for its implementation over the next year.
The time frame for submitting applications in the sports area is from May 15 to October 15, 2019.
