On April 24 at 3 pm in the Development Fund of Mariupol (6 Nakhimova Lane), the city council specialists will tell about ‘Public budget’ program that is actively gaining momentum. Due to it, each Mariupol resident has the opportunity to realize his own project.

‘Public Participation Budget’program implies the direct participation of Mariupol residents in the direction of the city budget funds. The main goal is to increase the influence and responsibility of society on the definition and implementation of priority projects aimed at developing the infrastructure of the city.

According to the ‘Public Participation Budget’ program, one person can submit two projects - small or large. The first are initiatives of quarterly, district and street significance. For its implementation the amount of UAH 20-200 000 will be allocated. Large projects have inter-district and citywide significance. Their cost is in the range of UAH 200-500 000.

Besides, HOA representatives can submit projects aimed at improving the housing stock. Namely, the overhaul of flats.

Smaller renovation of residential buildings, for example, replacement of window and door blocks, repair of engineering or electrical networks can be carried out within the framework of the competition of mini-projects for local development.

The priority in the Parent Fund program is to strengthen the ties between families and the educational institution in order to establish the unity of their educational impact on children. Such an opportunity allows parents to decide on what purposes the funds from the city budget will be spent.

Equally important are the areas of culture, tourism, sports and education. They are interesting for guests of the city and foreign partners. Today, they are developing and changing to make Mariupol even more beautiful and recognizable. Unique excursion routes are being developed and large-scale festivals are held.

There is a lot of work behind the visible success, including many mini-grants. But not everyone knows, and can figure out where to send your project and how to implement it. Therefore, on April 24, everyone who came to the Fund of Mariupol Development will be able to share his idea. The specialists will tell you how to draw up a project correctly and what documents are required for the participation in the Public Budget program.
