The most delicious autumn festival Goby Fest takes place on the central pier of Mariupol. Regional cuisine, a concert of famous musicians and a master class from a professional chef were prepared for the guests. An art object from the all-Ukrainian project "Sounds of the City" became a gift for the City Day. Mayor Vadym Boichenko and First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Moroz visited the festival locations.

Food is one of the ways to pass on traditions, so the local cuisine can tell a lot about the city and its history. About 20 seafood dishes were presented at the food court. Fried pigfish, fried kilka, fish borsch and pasta with mussels. Chef Vadym Rachok cooked an author's dish of Azov pigfish for the festival.

Many who came to the pier were interested in the new art object. The work of the trading port, iron and steel works, the sound of the sea and the railway, the blows in the ring and children's laughter. These and other sounds familiar to every resident of Mariupol were recorded on audio by the authors of the project "Sounds of the City", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. Purple wave - the result of several programs of sound design and 3D-visualization. With its help you can hear the way our city sounds. To do this, read the QR-code and go to the project website. The color was chosen not by chance - it is the color of the sunset over the sea.

‘Today Mariupol sounds in a new way, the breath of the sea, children's laughter and good mood. The city is being reborn from industrial to post-industrial. In the process of recording sounds and creating a shape, we did not expect a wave. It is very symbolic for a city by the sea’, Vadym Boichenko noted.

The evening program of the festival pleased with a bright concert. The cover band Endorphins, singer Jerry Heil, Schmalhausen 'and singer Laud performed on stage.

The ‘pigfish festival’ continued today. FM band, Star Band, singer Ingret, Mountain Breeze and YY are among them.
