Mariupol school №16 is at the final stage of the realization of the project of energy modernization of the establishment. Thus, according to the municipal program “Warmth in every class and every group”, the change of window units is being effected. The cost of the project is about UAH 2.5 mln.
The City Mayor Vadym Boichenko personally checked the repair works and stressed that the energy effective solutions let reduce the cost of the coolant up to 30%.
In 2018, the bathrooms were overhauled here. Almost the entire block of classrooms of the elementary school is equipped taking into account the program of the "New Ukrainian School". In total, UAH 112 million was allocated from the city budget for the implementation of the reform. And the investment for each child is the highest in Ukraine.
“We supported the key reform of the reboot of the first level schools. We invest about UAH 10 thousand in each child. This is the highest figure in Ukraine. We buy only high-quality equipment, comfortable chairs and desks. Besides, teachers now have access to an extensive list of didactic material for classes with children”, Vadym Boichenko said.
Besides last year, design estimates for the construction of a sports ground at school №16 were developed. In 2021, it is planned to implement this project. The estimated cost is over UAH 5 million. A universal playground, a treadmill and anti-vandal exercise equipment will be installed here.
It should be noted that four activities are being implemented in the city in the direction of modernizing school institutions. This program is "Hygiene in Schools", "Warmth in every class and every group", "Repair of constructions" and "Sports". At the same time, major repairs of flagship schools are being carried out.
