Mayor Vadym Boichenko has held a briefing on the transfer of the construction of Metinvest Polytechnic University near the territory of the City Garden. He noted that in this matter it was important for the new university in Mariupol to become a point of unification but not a split of opinions.
Vadym Boichenko stressed that the emergence of a new higher educational institution in the city is about the development of education in Mariupol, as well as private multimillion investments. A university of this level is ready to host large cities of Ukraine.
‘We have made certain efforts to make Metinvest Polytechnic located in our city. We are now back at the ‘start’ point. And we will also continue to compete with other cities for technical education of the European level to appear here, in Mariupol. It is important for me to know the real opinion of the residents of the city,’ the Mayor stressed.
