The large-scale celebration of the 243rd birthday of Mariupol has ended brightly and loudly. The final location was Freedom Square. Famous Ukrainian artists performed at it, and fireworks gave a lot of positive emotions. Mayor Vadym Boichenko wished Mariupol development, peace and family well-being.
‘Today, the development of Mariupol is talked about far beyond Ukraine. We were able to achieve this because we implement all projects together. Everyone puts a part of themselves into them. Mariupol residents are actively involved in the life of the city. Today we can see how the city is changing, but its true beauty is in its inhabitants’, the Mayor noted.
The local cover band Endorphins was the first to perform on stage. Afterwards, the people of Mariupol greeted the famous singer Dantes loudly. Young people danced and took selfies on the laser-decorated square. Dantes noted that this is not the first time he has come to Mariupol, and the city never ceases to amaze him. Mariupol is rapidly changing and developing. And the group "One in a Canoe" traveled more than a thousand kilometers to see our city. The artists were sincerely happy to meet their fans, who knew the words of almost all their songs. They also shared their first impressions, saying that the city is very green and modern. The headliner of the program was the rock band Boombox. The people of Mariupol sang loudly to famous hits, and soloist Andrei Khlyvnyuk noted that at this concert he saw how positive the people of Mariupol were: ‘And let someone try to say that we are different! We are all Ukrainians’.
Fireworks became a real gift at the end of the holiday. He painted the night sky with thousands of multicolored lights for a few minutes.
