Now residents of Mariupol and guests of the city have the opportunity to walk along the restored pier comfortably. It is located on the territory of the water sports complex. Mayor Vadym Boichenko personally appreciated the result of the work done.
During the reconstruction, the bearing structures were reinforced at the location, the railings were replaced, a terrace board was laid, benches and urns were installed, a modular building and a complex for storing inventory were opened. The total amount of the project is UAH 18.6 million, where UAH 10.9 million is from the city budget and 7.7 million are allocated by Metinvest Group.

The plans for the next year are the reconstruction of the second half of the pier, the construction of a bridge that will connect them, the opening of a sports and food zone.
