The residents of houses on 89 Stroiteley Avenue and 22 Bakhchivandzhi Street have been the first to create the Association of Co-Owners of ‘Good Luck’ Apartment Buildings in 2016. In the same year they received the ‘Cozy Yard’. This became possible due to the allocation of more than UAH 432 000 by the Metinvest Group. Mayor Vadim Boichenko arrived to know how they live in HOA.

The Mayor noted that the project demonstrates the changes that are happening in Mariupol. He appreciated the residents for their support and cooperation.

‘It would not happen without you and people who have taken responsibility and shared it with the government. I want to thank you for this. Due to such courtyards, we change the face of Mariupol,’
the Mayor said.

In turn, the residents appreciated the authorities for their support and initiative. Chairman of HOA Igor Korotkov showed the Mayor photos where the yard was like before the creation of ‘Cozy Yard’. Unfiltered gray area, without playgrounds and normal benches. Today, a real comfort has been created here. All this was made possible due to the HOA support program.

We will note that for three years the city allocated more than UAH 500 million for support of HOAs. Every year funding increases. This year it is more than UAH 200 million. There are plans to conduct 101 overhauls, implement 188 mini-projects and create 102 Cozy Yards.

At the end of the meeting, Vadim Boichenko presented the chairman of HOA support pass to the chairman. It outlines the joint plans of the city and association for five years. According to it, HOA receives two constructives, two mini-projects and a cozy courtyard.
