‘Vodokanal's’ investment service has held a working meeting with the representatives of a private company to create a modern complex for water purification and disinfection. All this is to provide the population and enterprises of Mariupol with quality drinking water in the required volumes.
This project is funded by a loan from the French government in the amount of EUR 64 million. The loan term is 30 years. The general plan for water supply and drainage of Mariupol is currently being developed. Besides, work is underway to design water supply systems at the level of feasibility study, design of water treatment plant, water intakes and their connection to the water supply network of the city. During the visit, the specialists discussed the implementation of the project and determined the progress of work for the next period.
There will be a water treatment plant in Mariupol! Thus, step by step, the city is approaching the fact that clean drinking water will come from the tap of every house in Mariupol.
