The Center will provide consultancy services to representatives of condominiums for the introduction of energy-efficient measures to improve energy efficiency of residential buildings. Oleksandr Holtvenko, the First Deputy Mayor, and the senior consultant of the ‘Municipal Energy Reform in Ukraine’ project solemnly cut the red ribbon at the opening.

Here Mariupol residents will be able to receive qualitative information on the modernization of heat points, indoor heating and hot water supply systems, insulation of external building structures, installation of energy-saving windows and doors, repair of roofs and basements. Thanks to the Center's work, residents will reduce energy costs and save on payment for heat supply.

“This is another step towards improving energy efficiency. I am confident that the Center's staff will become loyal assistants on the way of building energy-efficient Mariupol, and there will be more energy-efficient houses in our city”, - Oleksandr Holtvenko emphasized.

The Resource Center of Clean Energy is open with the help of the USAID ‘Municipal Energy Reform in Ukraine’ project, the International Finance Corporation, as well as renowned international companies producing modern energy efficient equipment and materials: Danfoss, Rehau and Henkel. They helped to equip the premises with equipment and furniture in a total amount of more than 135 thousand UAH.

Dmytro Vizenkov, the Head of the Condominium Support and Development Department of the Housing and Utility Development Department of the City Council, said that Mariupol was the leader taking into account the number of condominiums established. Today, there are more than 300 condominiums in the city, so the work of the service will greatly facilitate the work of the city with associations.

Viktoriya Pogorelova, the senior consultant of the ‘Municipal Energy Reform in Ukraine’ project, noted that, through the example of Mariupol, the main idea of the service was realized, that was to gather all those who were interested in the complete thermal modernization of buildings.

“This means that Mariupol residents want to live in comfortable conditions, extend the life of their homes and are ready to use the latest technologies”, - Viktoriya Pogorelova summed up.

The Resource Center of Clean Energy is located in 93B, Myra Avenue (Condominium Support and Development Department of the Mariupol City Council).
