It has been told by the city mayor Vadim Boichenko during a working visit. He has visited Mariupol Technical Lyceum where a major overhaul is in process. This educational institution will become a third-level school within three years. The cost of the project is more than UAH 36 million. It is implemented by co-financing of the state, the city and Development Fund of Mariupol.

This educational institution has not had any repair works since 1958, so it has got an emergency. The situation began to change after the beginning of the repair works.

According to the mayor, the most important thing is that during the repair works of Technical Lyceum the contractor managed to combine an architectural heritage of the building and a modern design approach.

‘A technical lyceum will become an example of the way Mariupol schools should look after repair works. We will send all the contractors here who will repair educational institutions in future. So that they can see the way repairs can look like, when it is implemented and what materials and approaches are used. We want to show that everything is possible from the point of view of the budget and a compliance with the terms when the contractor is chosen correctly,’
Vadim Boichenko said.

The mayor of the city stressed that you can choose a quality contractor on the ProZorro site. It is necessary to write down the technical assignment correctly.

The progress of the work was highly appreciated by the director of Mariupol Technical Lyceum Alina Bezzaponova: ‘We are lucky with the contract organization. Now the lyceum has become much more beautiful and brighter. We are ready to teach children of the third degree. We have a professional pedagogical staff for this and now we have already had material and  technical resources’.
