The program ‘City without outskirts’ is being implemented, the goal of which is to bring services as close as possible to residents of villages and remote microdistricts in Mariupol. This will help the construction of new block modules for self-organization committees of the population. One of these points will appear in the Kalmiusky district. Working issues on its construction were discussed at the executive committee.

A one-storey block module will appear in 99-B Svitla Str. The area around will be landscaped and at the point itself, comfortable conditions will be created for the work of the committee of self-organization of population and the appeal of residents. Design and estimate documentation has already been developed.

It is planned that four specialists will receive on-site appointment. Their task is to help Mariupol residents in processing and submitting applications for social and public utility issues. They will independently coordinate them with deputies, heads of district administrations and profile deputies. It is also planned to open a community police officer station at the facility.

‘Our task is to create new opportunities for residents of remote micro-districts of Mariupol. With the implementation of ‘City without suburbs’ program, they will have comfortable conditions for education, treatment, recreation and receiving services within walking distance. With each implemented initiative, we raise the standard of living of people and create equal opportunities for access to services,’ Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.
