Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor, congratulated all Mariupol residents on the City Day during the gala concert of the ‘Chervona Ruta’ all-Ukrainian festival. Mariupol is 239 years old today. This day is special for everyone who was born and raised here, who came and stayed here.
The Mayor congratulated people on the birthday of his native and beloved city. In his welcoming remarks, he noted that Mariupol was one friendly and very strong family, which included teachers, doctors, municipal employees, metallurgists, machine builders, port workers, law enforcement officers and Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Mariupol authorities are doing everything to ensure future for the city and for every of its inhabitants. The Mayor said that there were a lot of discoveries for Mariupol in the future, and the 240th Anniversary of the City would bring bright discoveries and infrastructure projects.
