Yesterday, at the meeting of the Mariupol Executive Committee, a protocol was drawn up for the distribution of 43 flats for orphans and children deprived of parental care. They were purchased at the expense of the regional and city budgets. This program operates on co-financing terms - 50 to 50.

According to the deputy mayor Mikhail Ivchenko, this program is created for children aged 16 to 23 years old. In two years, more than 100 people have already received their own housing.

‘At the initiative of the region, a unique program is being implemented in Mariupol. Its rapid development allowed to receive financial assistance from the state. Today orphans can count on support. Now providing them with their own housing is an indicator that Mariupol and their country need them’,
the city head Vadim Boichenko stressed.

The procedure for the distribution and provision of residential premises for temporary residence of resettlers was also approved. According to the Mayor, this practice was considered by the city using examples from many countries, in particular Georgia. In the process of implementation the additions were made. The main thing - people believed in this program, who were able to get a service apartment. It is implemented with the support of the government and the city.
