Today, a draw has been held at Zapadny Stadium to distribute 39 flats for orphans and children deprived of parental care. They were purchased at the expense of regional and city budgets. This program operates on co-financing terms - 50 to 50.
According to Deputy Mayor Mikhail Ivchenko, during the program, 150 flats worth UAH 60 million were purchased. The program is created for children aged 16 to 23 years.
‘This is an important social project. We show that orphans can count on support. Providing them with their own housing is an indicator that Mariupol needs them,’ Mikhail Ivchenko stressed.
The distribution of living space was open. Each participant drew a card with the address of the flats. There was Vlada Mikhailova among them.
‘I have a small child now and I really wanted to get my own home. At first, they did not fully believe that the program really works. Now we are convinced that everything is real. We are very happy and grateful for such a gift,’ the girl said.
