A delegation of the BOARD business community from Kiev has visited Mariupol. They and local entrepreneurs were told about the opportunities of the city, its economic potential and strategic development.
The event was attended by over 50 business representatives of local and Ukrainian level. Deputy Mayor Serhii Orlov made a welcoming speech. He also made an introductory presentation of the city for guests. He spoke about the restart of Mariupol, key projects and municipal investments.
‘Mariupol is developing rapidly every year. Our experience is useful for other cities in the country. Our goal is to open a new Mariupol for the whole of Ukraine as a promising, dynamic and worthy of attention city. We create opportunities for the implementation of infrastructure and investment projects,’ Serhii Orlov said.
During the visit, the delegation visited Freedom and Peace Square, the Vezha cultural and tourist center, Theatre Square and a pier. They were told about the development of tourism and cultural projects of the city, which will make Mariupol even brighter and more interesting.
‘Mariupol is a progressive city. I believe that the revival of the Ukrainian economy will start in Mariupol. Our BOARD community views this city as one of the most interesting business communities and collaborations. We see that there will be large investments in the development of service structures, as well as small, medium and large businesses. Mariupol's growth potential is significantly higher than in Kiev,’ Andrii Dligach, Doctor of Economics, strategist, Board co-founders stressed.
